Dr. Ankit Chawla is a dedicated knee & shoulder surgeon expert in knee ligament reconstruction, meniscus surgery, shoulder instability, bankart, rotator cuff repair, knee & shoulder joint replacement etc. Dr. Chawla did his MBBS from MAMC, Delhi (2009) and completed his MS Orthopaedics from UCMS, Delhi (2014); under the able guidance of Prof. Sudhir Kumar, Prof. AK Jain & Prof. Shobha Arora, he also obtained DNB in orthopaedics (2014). After doing his senior residency from UCMS, Delhi, he went on to work in joint replacement, arthroscopy and sports injuries unit under Prof. Amite Pankaj Aggarwal at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi. He successfully completed 6 months advanced training fellowship programme in knee & shoulder arthroplasty, arthroscopy and sports medicine at Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul, South Korea under world renowned Prof. TK Kim & Prof. Joo Han Oh (2018). He has keen interest in academics and research and has many publications in international journals to his credit. He has also participated in various national and international conferences and made presentations. He is an active member of various societies like the Indian Arthroscopy Society(IAS), International Society for Knowledge for Surgeons on Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty (ISKSAA), Indian Orthopaedics Association (IOA) etc. He has 10 years experience of over 2000 Knee/hip joint replacements, ACL/PCL reconstruction surgeries and shoulder instability and rotator cuff repair surgeries.
